Your choice of yarn/s, buttons, beads, even crochet motifs sewn on later. Working with different hook & stitch sizes will also determine the look of your finished project.
Even the most basic beginner will be able to give this one a go; gain confidence reading & understanding patterns &, for the more experienced, it’s a quickie to make in a couple of hours.

Pattern 2 Crochet Flower Scarf: an easy-to-make crochet pattern using up that odd ball/skein in your stash, resulting in a very pretty, chic scarf.
Make the flower & inlet first, then use the rest of the ball/skein for the scarf.
A nice & easy beginner pattern & quick little number to knock over in a few hours for the more experienced
Suggested Yarn: Any fine yarn, except Eyelash or very hairy yarns, will work up well. Keep in mind that if the yarn is highly textured the flower motif will not show as well.
