to everyone who received the “private Message” spam email from rensfibreart or Renate Kirkpatrick… I was hit by a spam golbin that attached itself to my hotmail contacts – Please… DO NOT CLICK on the link, just delete – as a precaution, I’ve changed all my passwords on all my sites & hopefully not too much damage has been done…. Please accept my sincere apology if you have been affected in anyway…. it certainly makes me realise just how vulnerable we are to mischievous cyber idiots, who have nothing better to do with their time but to cause havoc…

I agree. You are certainly not at fault for this situation.
Thanks for that, Caroline, makes me feel less like an idiot…. I have my fingers crossed, but I’m pretty sure that my privacy hasn’t been compromised – I guess I have now come of “cyber age” LOL….
I think most of us have been in this situation by now and understand its not the fault of the account holder. Its like a coming of age ritual in the cyber world; if your Hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail account has not been hi-jacked or cloned, you do not have an online presence sort of thing. As long as there is no damage done to your personal accounts and privacy, thats all that matters. I keep a list of confirmed spammers in my contacts list, and hi-jackers are welcome to that little lot, lol!
