From the bizarre to Classic Style ~ A collection of scarves & wraps

Whenever my creative juices wane or go walkabout & seemingly disappear for a while, I simply return to the basics… the versatile scarf ~ wrap… I’m fortunate that my yarn stash is vast & varied so it’s not all that hard for me to choose a few favourites & play… let the hook & yarn lead the way…

As cliché as it may sound, it’s nevertheless true, at least for me… each yarn has it’s own colour-way & texture & therefore its own voice, so it’s just a matter of listening & going with the flow – this collection of scarves & wraps is the realization – it still surprises me too…

  1. Hello Rosalyn, nice to meet another fibre enthusiast, the best advice I ever got was ‘never let others direct your creative journey, be brave & follow your heart’… I suggest you join other fibre groups like yahoo freeform group, Ravelry, on Flickr, & don’t forget Facebook (lots of groups there too) so you can mix with like-minded folk who understand artistic expression & obsession – as for pricing – that’s always difficult but basically you have to take into account your material costs & time & go from there… thank you for your kind compliments & I wish you much success… Renate

  2. I love your work! I am just getting started and do woven necklaces as well as felted items. I belong to a weavers guild here in Montrose, Co in the USA and they are a little taken back with the things I make as it is a bit more creative then they are used to. I joined the fiber arts community to connect with other like minded people. I would love to know how you got started and about pricing…thank you, Rosalyn
