25 Crochet Granny Square Flowers, Afghan Blanket Throw Rug, PDF E-Book

25 Crochet Granny Square Flowers

20 in stock

A cheerful crochet granny square rug (afghan), blanket throw made up of 25 different individual flower patterns. Each flower pattern has a base round from which the main granny square is worked, meaning the flowers are part of the rug (afghan) not just attached later.

  • If you use all the flowers your finished Rug (afghan) size will be
  • approx: 135 cm x 135 cm (53” x 53”)
  • Individual square size – approx 27 cm x 27 cm (10.5” x 10.5”)
  • However, there is no reason why you can’t choose a few favourites & make a smaller one.

Each pattern includes:
~ written pattern in both UK & US terminology
~ diagram (charts) & including abbreviations
~ special stitch drawings & instruction
~ placement chart
~ instructions for joining squares & the all-round border

I’ve used the ‘humble granny square’ simply because it’s an easy start for the less experienced but there is no reason why you can’t use a favourite (square) of your own.

I used 8 ply Bendigo Woollen Mills yarn but, here again, use what you have or favour; the same goes for colour combinations.

I prefer a 4.50 hook  but if you’re more comfortable with a 4.25 (US:G) or 5.00 (US:H), or what ever size you like, then go for it.

The Ebook (84 pages) will be sent to you as a download link to your  email address once payment is complete. You will require Adobe Reader to view the PDF pattern.

~ As a PDF download there are no shipping fees
